Job Title: Connected Car Integration Test Engineer

Crewe - Full-time Onsite Position

Our client is seeking a passionate Engineering Systems Delivery Specialist to help deliver cutting-edge engineering systems and components for the connected car. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and Manage Test Property:
    - Oversee the continuous construction and maintenance of test rigs and vehicles in Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment & Diagnostics.
    - Capture and specify system integration and test requirements.
    - Support test planning and validation to ensure systems and components achieve quality targets.
  • Delivery of Projects:
    - Plan and manage project-related activities weekly.
    - Report project status and actively collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Problem Solving:
    - Tackle complex system test and integration challenges using company tools.
    - Analyse vehicle logs and manage integration issues to identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop and Maintain Specialist Knowledge:
    - Conduct requirement analysis and develop comprehensive test approaches.
    - Automate testing using Python, Robot Framework, and Anna Framework.
    - Maintain and document test environment configurations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    - Work effectively within functional teams to achieve common objectives.
    - Support team contributions and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Technical Expertise: Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse logs and deliver presentations at various levels.
  • Driving Requirements: A valid UK driving licence is essential. Knowledge of the German language is a plus!
