Quality Analyst- Automation

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Digital Automation Engineer to join our Digital & Technology team, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality digital experiences for customers through modern test automation practices.

Working within a fast-paced agile environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional product and delivery teams to drive quality across web and mobile platforms, champion automation-first testing approaches, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support our CI/CD delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and execute automated regression tests across digital platforms.
• Develop test conditions and test cases using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) principles and automation frameworks.
• Support and enhance CI/CD testing processes to improve quality, efficiency and release confidence.
• Collaborate with Test Leads, Developers, Squad Lead and delivery teams to identify test coverage and quality risks.
• Maintain, enhance and troubleshoot automation scripts within existing frameworks.
• Perform defect retesting, regression testing and provide clear reporting on test outcomes.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, contributing testing estimates, planning and quality inputs.
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and deliver great customer experiences.
• Support and promote quality assurance standards, testing strategies and best practices across the team.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvements and capability uplift within the testing function.

Must haves:

• 3+ years' experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies, including iOS, Android, native and hybrid applications.
• Experience working in Agile environments with at least 1 year using BDD methodologies.
• Experience using Tosca Commander for test automation.
• Good understanding of API testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing fundamentals, including test levels, test types and advanced testing techniques.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Highly regarded: Experience with AEM/CQS, Jira, Stash, Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub, Cucumber JVM, TestNG and CI/CD practices.
