National Technical Service Manager

Qualifications and responsibilities for this National Technical Service Manager position include: Minimum 5 years of hands-on field service or technical support experience with agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment; agricultural dealership experience and a strong technical background are highly preferred. Proven experience managing dealer/distributor service networks, with the ability to lead, train, and supervise approximately 5–7 field service and technical support employees.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic control systems, including tractor loaders, implements, and auxiliary agricultural equipment. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation, with proficiency in electronic diagnostic tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office; BAAN experience is beneficial. Oversee national technical service operations, including warranty management, dealer communications, technical training, complex troubleshooting, and customer support throughout the United States and Canada.

Manage service budgets, cost estimates, forecasting, and KPIs while collaborating with engineering and product teams in the United States and Europe to resolve technical and product-quality issues. Coordinate dealer visits and provide field support as needed, with approximately 30% domestic travel and occasional international travel; this is primarily an office-based position with a Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM schedule. Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Italian, French, or Spanish is a plus.

Salary: $85,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
