Job Description

We are looking for DevOps Engineer for our client in Toronto, ON

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience managing and deploying applications to OpenShift and Azure AKS.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and components such as deployments, services, and HPA.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps tools such as Aqua Scan and Snyk.
  • Experience working with DevOps pipelines including GitHub Actions, Maven, and Angular.
  • Experience with code-merging and branching methodologies using Git and code release processes.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Kibana.
  • Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deploy applications to OpenShift and Azure AKS environments.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices using security scanning tools.
  • Maintain and optimize DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Manage code release processes and branching strategies using Git.
  • Monitor system performance using Dynatrace and Kibana.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
