Cell Test Technician
We are supporting an innovative clean technology company that is looking for a Cell Test Technician to join its growing R&D team.
This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, and electrochemical testing. Working closely with scientists and electrochemists, you will support the development and validation of next-generation materials through high-quality experimental work and accurate data collection.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrode manufacturing processes, including slurry mixing, coating, and calendaring
• Assemble coin and pouch cells within controlled laboratory and dry-room environments
• Execute battery cell testing programmes and support electrochemical investigations
• Maintain laboratory equipment, test systems, and thermal chambers
• Accurately record experimental procedures, results, and observations
• Follow established laboratory procedures and quality standards
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to support materials development projects

Requirements

• Experience working within a laboratory, chemical, or scientific environment
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work accurately
• Experience recording experimental data and maintaining laboratory documentation
• Ability to manage laboratory activities efficiently and meet deadlines

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Coin cell and pouch cell assembly experience
• Familiarity with dry-room environments
• Experience with slurry preparation, coating, or electrode manufacturing processes
