  • 12-month contract with possible extension

Payroll Business Analyst required for leading company based in City Fringe (Close to Public Transport). It requires a proactive positive attitude, strong attention to detail and an exceptional work ethic.

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of an extension, hybrid work from home 3 days per week.

This role will see you collaborating with the payroll operations team to review, recommend and implement changes to payroll processes and ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance. You will extract and analyse data, identify trends and variances, your key responsibilities in the role include:

  • Gather detailed business requirements, document current processes and assist in defining future states for all payroll, and time and attendance processes.
  • Create detailed functional specifications, process map, and use cases to guide the development and implementation of new systems
  • Defining business processes through detailed investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information
  • Conducting regular audits of payroll data and identify variances
  • Reviewing, recommending and implementing payroll process changes ensuring legal obligations are met
  • Stakeholder engagement

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Have prior experience with large transactional payroll systems
  • Possess a knowledge of EBAs, Awards, Payroll regulations and data management
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights from business processes and performance metrics
  • Have strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • A talented communicator who can convey complex analysis and data to varying levels of our organistaion
  • Are able to work to tight time frames and the ability to prioritise and manage your time and tasks
  • System knowledge in Kronos and Preceda
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong excel skills
