Job Description



•  Design and develop data ingestion pipelines for Blue Yonder Platform Data Cloud (PDC)
•  Build and maintain integrations using Kafka, REST APIs, SFTP, and batch-processing mechanisms
•  Develop and support BYDM (Blue Yonder Data Model) compliant JSON payloads.
•  Implement event-driven integration patterns for master data and transactional data.
•  Design scalable solutions for high-volume real-time and near real-time data processing.
•  Support inbound and outbound data exchange between enterprise applications and Blue Yonder platforms.
•  Data Modeling & Transformation
•  Analyze source system data structures and map them to Blue Yonder data models.
•  Create transformation logic and validation frameworks for data ingestion.
•  Design reusable mapping and enrichment processes.
•  Collaborate with business and solution architects to define integration contracts and schemas.
•  Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
o  Must Have : BY PDC certification 
•  Data Quality & Monitoring
•  Develop automated validation rules and exception handling processes.
•  Monitor ingestion pipelines and resolve data quality issues.
•  Troubleshoot data mapping, schema validation, and integration failures.
•  Implement audit and reconciliation processes between source systems and PDC.
•  Create dashboards and monitoring tools for operational visibility.
•  Platform & Performance Engineering
•  Optimize pipeline performance and system scalability.
•  Support capacity planning based on event volumes and growth forecasts.
•  Design retry, replay, and recovery mechanisms for event processing.
•  Participate in performance tuning, testing, and production support activities.
•  Ensure compliance with enterprise reliability and availability requirements.
•  Collaboration & Delivery
•  Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and Blue Yonder teams.
•  Participate in data workshops, design sessions, and integration reviews.
•  Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and production deployment activities.
•  Document architecture, mappings, schemas, integration patterns, and operational procedures.
•  Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
•  Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
•  5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Integration Engineering, or Data Platform development.
•  Strong experience with:
•  REST APIs
•  JSON/XML
•  SQL
•  Python or Java
•  Experience designing event-driven architectures.
•  Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data quality frameworks.
•  Experience working with supply chain, transportation, logistics, ERP, or enterprise integration platforms.
•  Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
•  Experience with Blue Yonder Platform Data Cloud (PDC).
•  Knowledge of BYDM (Blue Yonder Data Model).

Experience with:
•  Snowflake
•  Confluent Kafka
•  PostgreSQL
•  Azure Kubernetes Services
•  Familiarity with CloudEvents specifications.
•  Experience with transportation management, freight audit, warehouse management, or logistics platforms.
