Salesforce Architect

Location: Baltimore, MD Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $185,000.00 USD Annually Description: Our client is currently seeking a Salesforce Architect

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and lead Salesforce architecture across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Define architecture standards, data models, integration patterns, security frameworks, and development best practices.
• Lead integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, MuleSoft, middleware, and third-party platforms.
• Create architecture documentation, solution designs, and technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide technical leadership to onshore/offshore teams.
• Support Agile delivery processes including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning.
• Identify technical debt, platform risks, and recommend long-term improvements.

Must Have/Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
• 3+ years as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Architecture Lead.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security, automation, platform limits, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and integration design.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, middleware, or enterprise integrations.
• Experience in financial services, banking, lending, or other regulated industries.
• Experience working with Agile teams and leading distributed development teams.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
