Water Treatment Engineer Water Treatment Engineer. We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing building services business, covering sites across London and the South East.

This is a mobile, hands-on position carrying out planned maintenance, water hygiene, treatment and remedial works across a range of commercial properties, schools and council buildings. The Role As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out PPM works in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274 and SFG20<br />Delivering Legionella control and water treatment services<br />Servicing and maintaining water softeners, filtration units, TMVs and dosing equipment<br />Carrying out closed-system analysis, dosing and flushing<br />Maintaining cooling towers and associated equipment<br />Testing and maintaining ClO2 equipment<br />Carrying out site audits and ensuring water hygiene logbooks are accurate and up to date<br />Identifying and completing remedial works<br />Carrying out site surveys of domestic water services where required<br />Assisting with the installation, servicing and commissioning of water treatment equipment<br />Assisting with water tank repairs, replacements and chlorination<br />Liaising with the Help Desk regarding planned maintenance works<br />Ensuring COSHH documentation and site records remain compliantWhat We're Looking For You should have previous experience working within water treatment and/or water hygiene, with a good understanding of:

ACOP L8<br />HSG274<br />Legionella control<br />Water treatment systems<br />TMVs<br />Closed systems<br />Dosing and flushing<br />Water hygiene complianceA City &amp; Guilds qualification in Risk Assessment, Water Treatment or similar is desirable.

Plumbing or mechanical engineering qualifications and knowledge of HTM 04-01 / HTM 01-05 would also be beneficial but are not essential. You must hold a full UK driving licence.
