As a Polishing Technician you would fill an essential role on our team. The Polishing Technician is a full-time, hourly position.
DUTIES

• Handle and prepare parts for performing polishing operations with machine polishers and hand tools.
• Operate polishing equipment and power tools such as hand files, grinders, disks, rotary sanders, and abrasive wheels to polish stainless steel tanks and mixer parts.
• Remove bumps or indentations in the metal parts without stretching or cutting through the finished piece with care to maintain contours, edges, and dimensions.
• Polish metal surfaces inside and outside stainless-steel tanks
• Locate and gather materials and supplies needed, check material for correctness and quality.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Able to work in repetitive movements, requiring good dexterity and hand- eye coordination.
• Use of an overhead crane to move large material
• Background in sheet metal, a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.

• The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation details: 19-21 Hourly Wage
