Lead Java Developer

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer with a minimum of 12 years of software development experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise Java applications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Review code and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
• Work closely with architects, product managers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Implement secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide technical estimates.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with React, Angular, or other front-end technologies.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience in enterprise application modernization and cloud migration.
• Previous experience leading a team of developers.
