Azure Data Architect

Introduction:

As an Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric. You will work closely with the team to ensure data governance, data quality, and performance tuning are optimized. Your expertise in cloud computing, data modeling, and predictive analytics will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design and setup Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric for data pipelines, lakehouse, and warehouse
• Utilize PySpark for data transformation and ETL/ELT processes
• Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality and security
• Optimize performance tuning and environment setup for efficient data processing
• Lead cloud migration projects from Azure to Fabric or similar platforms
• Develop predictive analytics models and automation testing frameworks
• Design facts and dimension data modeling for effective data storage and retrieval
• Collaborate with finance and HR domains using D365 and Workday systems

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric
• Proficiency in PySpark and data transformation techniques
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
• Experience with cloud migration projects and performance tuning
• Knowledge of predictive analytics, data quality frameworks, and automation testing
• Familiarity with finance and HR domains such as D365 and Workday

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automated testing and cloud computing
• Familiarity with data warehouse design and implementation
