You’d embedded into an Bristlecone project team, working on large‑scale technology, engineering, or digital transformation initiatives. Job Title: SAP IBP Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Architect with strong expertise in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Order-Based Planning (OBP), and Shelf-Life Planning. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of overall supply chain planning experience with deep functional and implementation expertise in SAP IBP solutions across enterprise environments.

This role requires hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and supporting IBP planning processes while collaborating with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP IBP implementations, enhancements, and support activities.
• Work extensively on:
• SAP IBP
• Order-Based Planning (OBP)
• Shelf-Life Planning
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution designs.
• Configure and optimize SAP IBP modules aligned with business planning processes.
• Support demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and response planning activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics.
• Conduct solution workshops, fit-gap analysis, and stakeholder discussions.
• Support integration between SAP IBP, S/4HANA, APO, ECC, and other planning systems.
• Drive issue resolution, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
• Ensure planning solutions support business KPIs and operational efficiency goals.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning / SAP Planning solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• SAP IBP
• OBP (Order-Based Planning)
• Shelf-Life Planning
• Experience working on enterprise-scale SAP IBP implementations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Good knowledge of demand planning, response planning, and inventory optimization.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in client-facing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP IBP certification preferred.
• Experience in Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Retail domains is an advantage.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
