Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking a Process Engineer to work at Red River Army Depot in the Texarkana, TX area.
A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering and tool development support to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering operations.
- Support enterprise management and the development and implementation of standardized engineering processes.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and integration of engineering tool suites.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve engineering workflows.
- Provides mechanical and process engineering support for depot production, maintenance, overhaul, and manufacturing operations.
- Uses CAD and engineering drawings to design, modify, and improve production tooling, fixtures, stands, workstations, and equipment used in depot operations.
- Evaluates existing manufacturing and maintenance processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, safety, quality, ergonomics, and production throughput.
- Develops engineering solutions supporting the installation, modification, relocation, and optimization of industrial equipment and production processes.
- Reviews technical drawings, specifications, equipment requirements, and production needs to ensure engineering solutions support RRAD mission requirements.
- Provides technical support to production personnel and assists with equipment/process troubleshooting and corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with process engineering, process improvement, or engineering operations.
- Knowledge of standard process development, enterprise management, and engineering tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Clearance:
- Active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
