Job Description

Join Our Team as a Salesforce Tech Lead – Drive Innovation in Financial Services

Are you a visionary Salesforce professional passionate about transforming financial services through cutting-edge technology? We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to spearhead solution architecture and delivery for enterprise banking, insurance, and wealth management projects in Toronto. This is your chance to lead impactful initiatives, shape scalable solutions, and work with an expert cross-functional team in a hybrid work environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions focusing on FSC (Financial Services Cloud), ensuring alignment with business objectives such as KYC/Onboarding, Relationship Management, Lending, Claims, and Omni-channel Service.
  • Own the full technical lifecycle — from architecture and data modeling to security, integrations, and governance — creating scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
  • Define and oversee integration strategies using MuleSoft, APIs, platform events, and data workflows connecting core banking systems, LOS, underwriting, data warehouses, and identity platforms.
  • Champion data strategy, including Data Cloud, ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and compliance with industry standards like OSFI, PIPEDA, and SOC2.
  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with a diverse team of admins, developers, QA, BAs, and data specialists while serving as the primary technical contact for stakeholders.
  • Hands-on involvement in configuration, code reviews, DevOps practices, and enforcing best practices to ensure delivery excellence.

Required Skills:

  • Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, with a strong focus on Financial Services Cloud implementation.
  • Extensive experience with data modeling, security models, and event-driven architecture within Salesforce.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, including MuleSoft, API-led connectivity, and real-time data solutions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools: Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flows, and external services.
  • Experience with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DX.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and data governance standards in financial services.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Certification in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or FSC-specific certifications).
  • Experience with multi-org/multi-geo Salesforce strategies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk or New Relic.
  • Knowledge of additional integration platforms or data management tools beyond MuleSoft.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience, with demonstrated leadership in financial services projects.

Other Requirements:

  • Located in or willing to relocate to Toronto, ON.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 4 days in the office.
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus.

If you’re ready to lead transformative Salesforce solutions that make a real impact in financial services, we want to hear from you! Apply now and take the next step in your career journey with us.
