Software Engineer-Developer with Security Clearance

Title: Software Engineer-Developer Location: Colorado Springs, CO Salary Range: $70-80/hr on w2 Contract: 12+ months, possible extenion U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance required Introduction The Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team Program is seeking motivated and talented C2BMC Systems Software Engineers to join the team in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).

The Missile Defense Programs support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science.
• 9 years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 7 years with a Master's or 4 years with a PhD.
• Ability to be cleared at TS/SCI. Top Secret is required to start.
• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the Agile software development process.
• Experience with Java, or Java Spring.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with integration and test processes, tools, and metrics.
• Experience in software requirements and architecture development in support of MDS systems.
• Experience with agile planning and execution using established processes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Work with other industry partners as a key contributor to the design and development of Java-based mathematical algorithms in support of the C2BMC.
• Support full software development lifecycle including generating design artifacts, implementing software changes, supporting design and code reviews, software testing, and resolution of issues found during testing.
