Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Data Scientist with a leading global media and entertainment organization. This role sits within a high-impact Data Science team supporting Sales and Marketing stakeholders through machine learning, forecasting, pricing optimization, and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will help maintain and enhance existing predictive models and dashboards while partnering with business leaders to deliver data-driven insights.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

• 2+ years of experience using Python and SQL for data analysis, data manipulation, and predictive modeling
• 2+ years of experience with machine learning and statistical libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and statsmodels
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
• 2+ years of experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau
• 2+ years of experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and large language models in a professional environment
• 2+ years of experience using Git and version control best practices in a collaborative environment
• Experience communicating technical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Sales and Marketing organizations
• Experience in media, entertainment, streaming, or subscription-based businesses
• Exposure to forecasting, pricing analytics, demand planning, or revenue optimization initiatives
• Experience with Streamlit, LLM integrations, or natural language-to-SQL solutions

Location: Burbank, CA

Onsite Expectation: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Pay Range: $45-$67.31/hr
