Are you a Software Engineer looking to work on some of the UKs most complex cyber security challenges? This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled Operational Cyber team, developing innovative solutions that support critical national security missions.

Youll work alongside experts in high-assurance development, vulnerability research, and cyber operations, applying your software engineering skills to solve real-world security challenges. Full training, mentorship, and development support will be provided.

What you'll have the opportunity to work across:

• Design, develop, test, and document secure software solutions.
• Apply secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Contribute to peer reviews, technical collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security mitigations.
• Work with emerging technologies and programming languages to deliver innovative solutions.

What we need from you:

• Strong experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Java, or C#.
• Experience with scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, Perl, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of software development practices including unit testing, CI/CD, source control, and debugging.
• Knowledge of operating systems and core computing principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• A strong interest in cybersecurity and secure software development.
