Job Description

Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Rostock, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring for a prominent player in the energy infrastructure sector, driving the energy transition through the development and modernization of substations. The Role • Lead the commissioning of medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations up to 380kV in Northeast Germany. • Analyze and resolve faults related to protection and control technology, collaborating with expert teams. • Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Perform precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment. • Contribute to projects involving renewable energy integration, industrial connections, and wind/solar parks. • Foster strong teamwork and collaboration with project management, planning, and assembly teams. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven expertise in protection/control technology, with experience in commissioning switchgear and knowledge of communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Familiarity with Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and OMICROM TestUniverse software is advantageous. • Strong team player with excellent decision-making and communication skills in German. • Valid driver's license Class B and a willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday).
