Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable Microservices architecture for high-availability applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in system architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
• Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, SSL, and authentication mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and API design.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
