Job Description

A major Aerospace company  is looking for a Pre-employment Investigations Associate responsible for facilitating a seamless, customer-centric onboarding experience for our new hires. This person will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the pre-employment investigation process, interacting with pre-hires, hiring managers, recruiters, and external vendors.

This is a hybrid position that requires working in-office two days a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at our Irving, TX site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Engage pre-hires to facilitate the pre-employment process, provide status, and gather additional information as needed. 
Partner with Recruiting, Security, and other internal resources to successfully clear candidates to start in a timely fashion in compliance with government regulation and company policy.
Initiate and track the status of pre-employment investigations (background check and drug screen). 
Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with a variety of actions throughout the process. 
Administer tasks within the applicant tracking and onboarding systems (Workday and ServiceNow), ensuring case documentation is accurate and complete. 
Answer a broad range of questions related to the Pre-employment Investigation process from a variety of internal and external stakeholders through a variety of channels (telephone, email, text). 
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of actions utilizing organizational systems and Microsoft Office suite. 
Participate in continuous improvement of processes and systems to promote efficiency and customer experience.

Basic Qualifications: 
Bachelor''s degree and 2 years related experience or a high school diploma and 6 years related experience. 
Knowledge and previous Human Resource experience, specifically as it relates to Pre-Employment Investigations (PEI). 
Strong customer service, problem-solving, and technology skills. 
Broadband internet access at home with experience using web-based tools and websites to complete actions or troubleshoot issues. 
Computer literate; current on new technology such as MS 365 and Microsoft Teams. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective listening, reading and comprehension skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
Knowledge and previous human resource experience in onboarding, staffing, recruiting, and pre-employment investigations (PEI).
Experience working in an HR Service Center environment. 
Demonstrated excellence in organizational and time management skills. 
Confident phone presence and exceptional customer service skills. 
Prior experience using Workday. 
Prior experience using Amazon Connect. 
Prior experience using ServiceNow.
