Title: ServiceNow Practice Architect

ROLE OVERVIEW
The ServiceNow Practice Architect is a senior technical and strategic leader responsible for designing, positioning, and delivering transformational ServiceNow solutions for enterprise clients. This individual operates at the intersection of deep technical expertise and executive-level business acumen, serving as a trusted advisor from initial opportunity discovery through solution delivery. The role requires the ability to engage confidently at the C-suite level while guiding internal teams and client stakeholders through complex technology decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Presales & Solution Architecture
Lead technical discovery and solution design workshops with enterprise prospects, translating business challenges into ServiceNow platform strategies.
Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and solution proposals tailored to executive and technical audiences.
Serve as the primary technical voice in C-level and VP-level conversations, articulating ROI, risk mitigation, and strategic platform value.
Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities, scope engagements, and craft winning proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with architecture-level depth and business outcome orientation.
Build trusted advisor relationships with client IT leadership, architects, and business executives throughout the sales cycle.
Develop project scope and work breakdowns as part of overall solution proposals to prospects.
Solution Design & Delivery Oversight
Design end-to-end ServiceNow architectures across the platform with emphasis on ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, HRSD, AI
Define implementation standards, technical governance, and architectural best practices across the practice.
Provide oversight and guidance to delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with architectural intent and client objectives.
Lead design reviews, technical risk assessments, and escalation resolution for active engagements.
Guide the development of reusable accelerators, templates, and solution frameworks that differentiate the practice.
Develop new practice solutions, including but not limited to Gen AI.
Practice Development & Thought Leadership
Contribute to the growth and maturity of the ServiceNow practice through methodology development, IP creation, and internal enablement.
Mentor and coach junior architects and technical consultants, elevating the overall capability of the team.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ServiceNow roadmap, new product releases, and competitive landscape.
Represent the organization at ServiceNow events, partner briefings, and industry forums.
Support partner-level activities including certifications, specializations, and ServiceNow relationship management.
REQUIRED
· 10+ years of enterprise technology experience, with 5+ years focused on ServiceNow architecture and delivery.
· Proven experience in a presales or client-facing solution architecture role within a VAR, SI, or consulting environment.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CISO, COO) on technology strategy.
· Deep expertise in three or more ServiceNow product lines (e.g., ITSM, CMDB/ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, SPM, GRC).
· Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud architecture, and ITSM/ESM frameworks.
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD).
· Experience authoring SOWs, technical proposals, and architecture documentation.
· Curiosity and drive to stay on top of ServiceNow’s product evolution, including understanding of how acquisitions fit into their strategy and ability to communicate that at an executive level.
PREFERRED
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
Multiple CIS certifications across the ServiceNow product portfolio.
Experience with Now Platform architecture including App Engine, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
Familiarity with ITAM, GRC, or industry-specific ServiceNow solutions (e.g., FSO, TMT).
Background in managing partner-level ServiceNow relationships and supporting specialization attainment.
