Role & Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with a supportive team to optimize business intelligence and reporting capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and refine robust code for data pipeline enhancements, dimensional modelling, and ETL testing.

• Automate scripts and deploy code fixes to ensure continuous delivery and support the growing demand for complex enterprise reports.

• Prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing demands, maintaining a keen eye on overall strategic program objectives.

• Contribute to timely outcomes while actively identifying innovative ways to streamline processes and improve data efficiency.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:

• Technical Toolkit: Strong expertise in ETL development, ideally within a SQL Server environment, alongside background experience in dimensional modelling and script automation.

• Experience: Proven experience working as a developer within a major Defence environment or another complex Commonwealth department.

• Core Capabilities: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to delivering quality outcomes within structured, multi-disciplinary teams.

Eligibility & Clearance Requirements

• Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this secure environment, candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance.
