Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and integrate a hybrid data environment in a contract role. 
This position, based in Canada, involves hands-on work with both on-premise and cloud-hosted database technologies. 
The role requires expertise in database administration, data federation, and data format management to support a modern data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain on-premise and cloud-hosted database instances.
Manage and optimize data federation platforms for high-performance integration.
Implement and manage open table formats to ensure cross-platform interoperability.
Ensure seamless data integration and performance tuning across systems.
Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to support scalable data solutions.

Qualifications
10 years of experience in on-premise database administration.
Hands-on expertise with data federation platforms.
Experience with cloud data platforms.
Deep knowledge of open table format architecture.
Proficiency in data modeling and performance optimization.
