As a Cyber Technical Analyst, a typical day will include the following duties: Description GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the following: * The resource shall conduct research and analysis using diverse data sources and systems to identify entities of interest and potential opportunities for further investigation or engagement.
* The resource shall maintain and enhance expertise in specialized areas related to information gathering and analysis, particularly in complex geographic and/or functional areas or issues.
* The resource shall monitor and analyze potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
* The resource shall establish partnerships, coordinate and deconflict complex projects, and collaborate across organization lines to accomplish mission objectives.
* The resource shall present relevant findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, to a broad range of interlocutors including senior organizational management.
Duties and Responsibilities * Demonstrated experience as part of a team that conceptualizes, initiates, develops, and manages strategic initiatives or projects.
* Demonstrated experience developing analytical products or packages to support operational or strategic initiatives.
* Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to support initiatives and activities.
* Demonstrated experience with intelligence community processes and procedures related to sensitive information handling and dissemination.
* Demonstrated experience with analytical tools and databases used to support data analysis and initiatives.
* Demonstrated experience with intelligence gathering or investigative processes, particularly those involving legal or regulatory frameworks.
* Demonstrated experience drafting and coordinating official correspondence or reports.
* Demonstrated experience effectively communicating complex mission ideas/concepts to audiences/stakeholders with varied technical and operational backgrounds.
* Demonstrated experience analyzing and evaluating large datasets from diverse sources, including technical information, signals, and imagery.
Desired Skills: * Demonstrated experience applying data analysis strategies to effectively and efficiently utilize advanced tools and methodologies to gather and analyze relevant information.
* Demonstrrated experience conducting in-depth research and analysis on complex or challenging subjects or projects.
* Demonstrated experience developing analytical products and supporting presentations to senior review bodies or committees.
* Demonstrated experience collaborating with partners to support analytical initiatives, with knowledge of relevant security and operational considerations.
* Demonstrated experience working with external partners and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience with and understanding of NSA and FBI reporting processes and requirements.
* Demonstrated experience with the cyber collection/exploitation mission.
* Demonstrated experience with strong analytic, writing, and briefing skills when presenting results of research.
