Position: Data Scientist LCAT: Senior
Location: Reston, Virginia This position is contingent upon award. Required clearance: TS/SCI with willingness to take CI poly. Candidates with current CI poly taken within the past seven years will be prioritized. Required experience: At least 8 years
Required education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field and 5+ years relevant experience Description Nalley Consulting has an opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to support on-going research and development efforts for functional characterization of WMD facilities and their associated design. The successful candidate will: * Provide data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence support. * Conduct data engineering tasks to integrate multiple APIs, and support process automation, data visualization, and application integration. * Develop tools to automate data analysis of large data sets. Requirements: * 4+ years of experience using programming languages, including Python, R, or Java, to manipulate and analyze data * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field * Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills * Ability to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to laymen and senior-level government representatives * Ability to clearly express in writing technical analysis results * Combining multiple date sources into GUI (graphic user interface) and visual and geographical displays. * Python and Tableau experience. * Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining * Experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sources * Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis * Experience with developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of target data sources * Experience with leading the development of solutions to complex problems * Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques * Experience implementing automation in processing, presenting, or manipulating data Other desired skills: * Demonstrated ability writing ICD 203 and ICD 206-compliant finished intelligence production * 15 years of experience in solving DoD data science problems * Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging Python and SQL * Experience with developing solutions incorporating Large Language Models * Experience with Python data science and visualization packages * Experience with Excel MBA * Experience with AC2SP, R, GitHub, and Palantir * An active CI polygraph ABOUT NALLEY CONSULTING Nalley Consulting is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business working with prime partners to staff Department of Defense and Intelligence Community positions.
