Shift Maintenance Engineer

Salary is £46,000 to £52,000 DOE, with excellent overtime! working Panama shifts - every other weekend you get a LONG WEEKEND<br />Clear Progression and Development inc further training and development<br />Are you a Shift Engineer looking for a new challenge in a recession proof industry for a company that has been established for over 100 years!<br />Working within a team you if you must have a strong engineering discipline and will need to be comfortable with both electrical and mechanical skills.<br />The plant is currently undergoing investment and expansion.<br />We are keen to speak to Engineers who are forward thinking, a team player and most of all keen to learn.<br />Role and Responsibilities of a Shift Maintenance Engineer

• PPM &amp; Reactive maintenance
• Undertake machine start-up, working closely with the production and hygiene team.
• Machine adjustments to optimise machine performance.
• To undertake fault diagnosis &amp; implement corrective actions to minimise machine downtime.
• To communicate machine status &amp; performance across shift teams to ensure effective handovers.
• Look at CI methods and ways to improve plant performance<br />Qualifications Required:
• Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent in electrical
• Mechanical Experience/qualifications
• Engineering/Technical background
• Manufacturing industry experience<br />This is working a Panama shift pattern (2,2,3) on a mix of days and nights<br />Salary is up to £52,000, Pension, and excellent overtime and a clear progression inc MEWP, Confined space, FLT and further qualifications
