Job Description

This Boston-based opportunity is with a well-funded, venture-backed technology organization transforming the automotive industry through robotics, automation, and modern software systems. This is a full-time, hands-on Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role focused heavily on React, mobile development, and cloud architecture (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with React (web and/or React Native)
  • Proven experience building and shipping mobile applications (native or cross-platform)
  • Solid background in cloud platform architecture, preferably Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and distributed systems
  • Deep understanding of system architecture and backend development
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka, or other queue-based systems)
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles (SOLID, clean code, TDD)
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical initiatives
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Background in computer vision or sensor-based applications
  • Experience designing offline-first mobile architectures and synchronization strategies
  • Familiarity with robotics, IoT systems, or edge computing platforms (e.g., ROS)
  • Exposure to automotive service operations or dealership software ecosystems (DMS)
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in engineering communities
  • Experience working in startup or fast-scaling environments
