Data Center Infrastructure Engineer

W2 Candidates only (CTH Role)

Ideal candidates will typically come from Data Center Engineering, Critical Facilities Engineering, Mission Critical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Data Center Design Engineering backgrounds.

Simply we are looking for engineers who understand the infrastructure that powers and cools a data center, not candidates whose primary experience is supporting the IT equipment running inside it.

Job Description:

This position is a Data Center Infrastructure Engineering role focused on the physical infrastructure behind a mission-critical data center environment. We need candidates with experience in areas such as:

•              Critical electrical systems (utility service, generators, UPS, switchgear, power distribution)

•              Critical mechanical systems (cooling plants, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC systems)

•              Capacity planning and forecasting (power, cooling, and space)

•              Infrastructure resiliency and redundancy

•              Root cause analysis of critical systems failures

•              Commissioning and testing activities

•              Data center expansions, upgrades, and modernization projects

•              Working with construction, facilities engineering, utilities, and critical systems teams
