The Role • Operate and maintain landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS) for regulatory compliance and optimal performance. • Calibrate, operate, and maintain sensitive electronic data collection devices for landfill gas (LFG) optimization. • Collect and manage data from wellfield extraction and environmental monitoring locations. • Implement the GCCS preventative maintenance plan and perform wellfield valve/vacuum adjustments. • Troubleshoot and maintain liquid management systems, pneumatic or electric-driven pumps. • Perform maintenance on PVC or HDPE piping and associated equipment. What You'll Need • A valid and unrestricted driver's license. • Experience in environmental fieldwork, construction, electrical, or mechanical hands-on work. • Working knowledge of gas collection systems, pumps, blowers, or flare systems is a plus. • Technical or trade school training in environmental science, mechanical systems, or instrumentation is preferred. • Experience working with PVC or HDPE piping and components. • Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision.
