## Job Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced **Integration & Test Engineer 2** to support advanced sensing technologies, Electro-Optical Infrared (EOIR) systems, and Radio Frequency Electronic Warfare (RFEW) systems at the Rolling Meadows, IL facility.

The Integration & Test Systems Engineer will support the complete product lifecycle by performing system integration, hardware/software troubleshooting, verification testing, and evaluation of complex electronic systems. This role provides an opportunity to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams developing advanced defense technologies.

## Key Responsibilities

* Perform integration and testing of complex electronic hardware and software systems.
* Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, test scripts, and test reports.
* Conduct system integration testing, design verification testing, and qualification testing.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues during system evaluation.
* Support integration activities in System Integration Labs (SILs) and off-site test locations.
* Analyze test results and document findings for engineering review.
* Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, and hardware engineering teams.
* Support verification and validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
* Apply systems engineering principles to develop and execute integration test strategies.

## Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline with **2+ years of relevant experience**, or Master''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s degree in a related engineering field.
* Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* U.S. Citizenship required.
* Must have an **active Secret Clearance to start**.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems.
* Experience with:

  * Design Verification Testing (DVT)
  * Environmental Qualification Testing
  * Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing
* Experience with DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs).
* Knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RFEW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, or RF test equipment.
* Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools such as Cameo.
* Experience developing and executing integration test plans.
* Programming or scripting experience with:

  * MATLAB
  * C
  * C++
  * Java
  * Python
* Experience writing and executing test scripts.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Willingness and ability to travel as required.
* Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
