Job Description

Job Title:- Product Owner

Location:- Remote
Duration:- Contract
 
Role Summary
The Product Owner will lead product delivery initiatives for a client. The candidate must be comfortable working directly with business leaders, executive stakeholders, technical teams, and
distributed onshore/offshore delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the product backlog.
  • Gather, clarify, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Convert business requirements into epics, features, and user stories.
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are understood by delivery teams.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, product demonstrations, and release planning.
  • Coordinate with business, technology, data, and operations teams.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, priorities, and delivery expectations.
  • Provide clear updates to client stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Support multiple Agile scrum teams where required.
  • Ensure the delivered solution meets business and customer experience objectives.

Required Experience
  • Strong experience working as a Product Owner in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading client-facing initiatives.
  • Strong Agile and Scrum delivery experience.
  • Ability to work independently with senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or coordinating distributed onshore/offshore teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to join the project and contribute immediately.

Preferred Experience
  • Healthcare payer or health insurance experience.
  • Experience supporting customer experience, digital transformation, healthcare operations, or related programs.
  • Product Owner certification such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
