Job Description

Role Summary

The Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and supports enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud Financials solutions and related cloud technologies. This role provides technical leadership for finance, accounting, and procurement capabilities by delivering secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications and integrations. The position collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective functional and technical solutions within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and support scalable Oracle Cloud Financials applications, integrations, extensions, reports, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders, application analysts, architects, product managers, engineers, testing teams, DevOps teams, and external vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives using Oracle Fusion and related Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Support enterprise financial processes, including month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, financial controls, and audit activities.
  • Design end-to-end solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, security, reliability, and production support.
  • Develop Oracle Cloud integrations, extensions, reports, data conversions, interfaces, and user experience enhancements.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents, coordinating with dependent teams and external support resources as needed.
  • Manage system enhancements and cross-functional financial systems initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Use approved AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to support operational efficiency and automation while appropriately validating outputs.
  • Develop and maintain technical and system documentation supporting operations, controls, audits, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and relevant practical experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Oracle Cloud Financials, or related Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting finance transformation initiatives using Oracle Fusion and related Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise financial processes such as month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Strong knowledge of application integrations, system configurations, data flows, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and reliable applications and end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large or complex datasets.
  • Experience with BI Publisher report development, interfaces, application security, workflows, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business, finance, and accounting requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous delivery, automated testing, or related modern software development practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and provide technical guidance to team members.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $65.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
