Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar security monitoring environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of security monitoring, event triage, incident classification, and escalation processes.
Ability to analyze technical data and identify potential security or network-related issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong documentation and reporting abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and mission-critical environment.
Ability to follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment when evaluating and escalating events.
Strong teamwork and stakeholder coordination skills.
Willingness and ability to work a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to work different shifts based on operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SIEM, ticketing, monitoring, or security event management tools.
Familiarity with network security concepts, security operations, and incident response processes.
Experience working with SOC playbooks, dashboards, KPIs, and detection rules.
Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
