Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a Data Governance Lead with 6+ years of experience to lead enterprise Data Governance initiatives. The role will focus on Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Data Quality Governance, including defining governance policies, standards, controls, and processes. The candidate will work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Architects, and Engineering teams to drive governance adoption, establish data lineage, manage critical data elements, and support compliance, audit, and risk requirements. Must be a local Phoenix, AZ candidate and available to work onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Data Governance initiatives.
• Manage Metadata, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality.
• Define governance policies, standards, controls, and processes.
• Drive data stewardship, ownership, and governance adoption.
• Develop end-to-end data lineage and identify Critical Data Elements.
• Partner with business, data, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Track governance KPIs, compliance, audit, and risk requirements..
