Job Overview

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Asset and Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end IT hardware asset lifecycle activities. This role is responsible for warehouse operations, physical inventory accuracy, and ensuring ServiceNow AMDB/CMDB records are maintained with precision across the entire asset lifecycle — from receiving to disposal. The guiding principle: if you touch the asset, you touch the record.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Manage hardware asset lifecycle across warehouse, field, department stockrooms, and deployed environments
• Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, staging, scanning, dispatch, return, repair, refresh, and disposal coordination
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory for laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, docks, network equipment, and peripherals
• Ensure ServiceNow AMDB/CMDB records are updated at every asset lifecycle event
• Support IT allocation exercises, inventory validation, and ServiceNow freeze/remediation periods
• Coordinate with Field Services, Desktop Support, ServiceNow/Asset Configuration teams, and customer stakeholders
• Track incoming shipments, purchase orders, packing lists, asset tags, and warranty details
• Support warehouse and field audits, stockroom reconciliation, and physical count validation
• Maintain and improve Hardware Asset Management SOPs and process documentation

Required Skills

 

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management
• Deep knowledge of CMDB/AMDB asset records, lifecycle updates, and configuration data accuracy
• Experience managing IT hardware assets across warehouse, field, and enterprise customer environments
• Strong asset movement controls, inventory reconciliation, and ticket-based tracking skills
• Excellent documentation discipline across the full asset lifecycle

Preferred Skills

 

• ServiceNow upload templates, bulk asset updates, and asset import templates
• Barcode scanning, RFID-related tracking, and warehouse automation concepts
• SCCM coordination, warranty tracking, and vendor shipment management
• Experience in public-sector or large-enterprise asset governance environments
