The Role • Provide specialized acute care and monitoring for Stroke Unit patients, including post-lysis and thrombectomy care, and manage conditions like epileptic seizures. • Administer specific scores such as the NIHSS-Score. • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, specialized neurological, and therapeutic nursing care plans, focusing on early mobilization and swallowing disorder support. • Ensure quality-assured nursing processes through independent execution of standards, assessments, and scales. • Collaborate closely and collegially within an interdisciplinary team comprising physicians, therapists, and case management. • Participate in continuous professional development through regular training to enhance expertise. What You'll Need • Completed training as a Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification, ideally with experience in neurological patient care. • Willingness to participate in stroke-specific further training, such as Stroke Nurse certification. • A friendly demeanor, ability to work independently and responsibly, with strong planning and organizational skills. • Proficiency in common applications like MS Office; experience with hospital information systems is a plus. • Availability to work in a 3-shift system, including weekends and holidays.
