Job Description

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered. Summary: • Provide hands-on support for Oracle hardware with Solaris and Linux Operating Systems. • Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software problems. • Maintain ticketing queues for hardware and software requests. • Perform on-site equipment fixes and coordinate access for additional support. Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 3+ years • Total Compensation: $347k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • 3+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, or similar). • Experience with IBM Enterprise Storage systems. • Strong knowledge of Veritas NetBackup (NetBackup Administration) • Experience with Nessus vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows. • Proficiency with YUM package management and patching strategies • Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems in a production environment. • Perform system patching and package management • Execute and remediate vulnerability scans, ensuring compliance with security standards • Support and maintain STE/STIN processes and environments (as applicable to organizational standards) • Implement and maintain system security configurations, including NSF frameworks/p olicies • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, audits, and incident response. • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
