Commercial Gas Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £55,000 DOE CBW are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team covering a variety of commercial sites across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including: Schools<br />Retail premises<br />Office buildings<br />Other commercial contractsKey

Responsibilities:

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas appliances, boilers, heating systems, and associated plant equipment.<br />Conducting routine servicing, inspections, and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.<br />Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to clients.<br />Working on a range of commercial heating systems including boilers, burners, pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, and controls.<br />Identifying potential issues before they become major failures and recommending remedial works where necessary.<br />Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a professional and timely manner.<br />Ensuring all work is completed in line with current Gas Safe regulations, health and safety legislation, and company procedures.<br />Completing detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation using electronic or paper-based systems.<br />Liaising with site managers, facilities teams, and clients to provide technical advice and updates on ongoing works.Person Specification: Valid Commercial Gas qualifications<br />Previous experience in commercial maintenance environments<br />Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills<br />Full UK driving licence<br />Excellent customer service and communication skillsBenefits &amp; Salary: Competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000<br />Monday to Friday working hours: 08:30 – 16:30<br />28 days holiday including bank holidays<br />Company van with personal use permitted<br />Stable, long-term commercial contracts<br />Supportive working environment and opportunities for development
