Job Description

We are looking for MDM Product Owner - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Tyson, VA

Job Title: MDM Product Owner - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Tyson, VA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience with healthcare MDM (Provider and Patient master data) and governance.
  • Strong EMPI background, including identity matching, duplicate resolution, and data remediation.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare data domains (Patient, Provider, Payer, and Location).
  • Experience integrating healthcare data across EHR, CRM, and MDM platforms.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and BAs.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management and sprint planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product lifecycle for Patient and Person domains, including roadmap development, requirements gathering, implementation, and release.
  • Drive projects end-to-end (Roadmaps, Backlog, Prioritization, Use Cases, and User Acceptance).
  • Lead and mentor a team of MDM professionals and Business Analysts, overseeing their work and performance.
  • Partner with Architecture and Delivery to ensure effective data product delivery.
  • Identify process improvements and manage internal and external communications regarding priorities and outcomes.
  • Understand service line inter-relationships to determine appropriate product solutions.
  • Manage workload, resource allocation, and project risks.
  • Incorporate feedback into roadmaps and collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare industry trends to help shape the direction of the organization s data products.
