Appian Security Business Analyst- Secret Clearance with Security Clearance

This position is to support The Department of State (DOS). Candidate Local to DC area is preferred for one day per week onsite in office. FT Telework will be considered for the right candidate Creates cyber-intelligence tools / methods and performs research and analysis in order to mitigate and eliminate data and cyber security risks. Designs and develops acceptance criteria for cybersecurity architecture.

• Work closely with a developer to identify potential shortcomings in a new software deployment.
• Plan out how to fix security issues with the developer.
• Test the developer's solution and confirm that it resolves the security gap.
• Configures and validates secure systems, tests security products/systems to detect computer and information security weaknesses.
• Involved in the periodic conduct of a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.
• Designs, develops, or recommends integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
• Involved in the establishment of strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
• Reviews processes and security protocols and makes recommendations for increased cyber security protection. Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in systems security.
• Secret Security Clearance Salary Range: $115k - $132k #CJpost
