Business Development BDR | Bloomington, IL, United States | On-site

The Role
• Engage with local businesses and existing clients within assigned territories to drive outdoor advertising sales.
• Develop and present innovative advertising campaign proposals to potential and existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and accounts within the Bloomington-Normal/Peoria markets.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of advertising clients by employing professional sales techniques.
• Track sales data, monitor performance against targets, and prepare regular reports.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
What You'll Need
• Proven ability to make compelling sales presentations, both in-person and over the phone.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Self-motivated with a resilience to overcome challenges and handle rejection.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems is preferred.
• A driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with prior outdoor advertising sales experience.
