Cyber Security Analyst (SecOps & Culture)

About the opportunity

We're looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard our systems, workloads and data in a modern, SaaS-first environment, covering detection, vulnerability management, incident response and security hygiene. The differentiator is influence: you'll make security make sense and build security habits through clear communication and targeted education, working as an embedded practice across delivery and operations and partnering with Technology Operations so uplift lands through day-to-day execution.

• Build a security posture that holds up in a modern, SaaS-first ecosystem
• Reduce real risk through pragmatic detection, vulnerability and incident management
• Humanise cyber security, make it make sense
• Help shape safe, practical ways of working as cyber, data and AI continue to evolve

What it takes

• Solid hands-on capability across incident response and vulnerability management
• Proven experience with Microsoft security stack: Defender XDR, Entra ID, and Sentinel
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence non-technical team members
• Pragmatic judgement: reduce risk without creating unnecessary friction
• Experience with Essential 8 / PCI where applicable is advantageous
• Proven ability to build strong relationships across teams, partners and the business
• A continuous improvement mindset, grounded in data, feedback, and outcomes
