In-Process Quality Inspector

In this In-Process Quality Inspector opportunity, you’ll help ensure parts meet exact specifications from first article through final and vendor certification checks.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Inspector position include: Manufacturing quality inspection experience required; precision machine shop/CNC environment preferred Perform visual and dimensional inspection of parts in production Analyze and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings Approve initial articles for new job setups before production begins Conduct in-process inspection data walk-throughs and verify dimensions meet tolerances Check for surface defects such as pits, burrs, nicks, and other irregularities Inspect finished parts received from vendors and approve for shipping or additional assembly Verify raw material and vendor-processed part certifications/testing; use precision measuring tools Night shift 3:30pm-1:00am Monday-Friday; optional Saturday overtime 7:00am-3:30pm Salary: $25/hr-$40/hr, commensurate with experience.
