Data Engineers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, optimize, deploy scalable pipelines, data infrastructure, cloud, queries, stored procedures, scripts, automation, data solutions, schemas, dashboards. Analyze business requirements and translate into technical specification, data models, and logical/physical data design. Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, performance tuning, code reviews, and data mining, data profiling, batch processing, data validation for integration into data marts. Confer with teams, track and report progress, escalate risks, translate data transformation rules into workflows, automate data ingestion, optimize structured data storage, implement utilities and wrappers, schedule jobs, troubleshoot, and review sprints, version control, compliance, data engineering, business logic. Maintain documentation, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications. Use ETL, AWS, Ab Initio, Informatica, Pentaho, DataStage, SQL, Python, Java, Scala, Unix, Linux, Shell, Agile, S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, EMR, Star, Snowflake, Control-M, Autosys, Airflow, SDLC, Jira, Confluence, Trello, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, KNIME, CI/CD, Git, Teradata, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, Hbase, Apache Cassandra, Matlab, Azure, NoSQL, Jenkins, Hive, Apache Spark, MapReduce, Sqoop, Matplotlib. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience working with data; developing queries, scripts, workflows; reviewing business requirements, code; using ETL, AWS, SQL, Python, Scala, Shell, S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, Star, Snowflake, Teradata, Hive, Spark, MapReduce. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
