6-month contract to hire.

This is either a senior software engineer that has good communication and wants to move into a more leadership role or someone that has technical lead title. This is a technical role but will be the right hand person to the manager.

React / Azure / Servicenow is must.

Executive Summary: GeoSense Technical Team Lead / Senior Software Enginner

Overview This role is essentially a Technical Team Lead / Senior Software Engineer hybrid supporting the GeoSense application development team. The title is still being finalized internally, and while it functions similarly to a Scrum Master role, the emphasis is much more on technical leadership than agile administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily scrums and coordinate development activities across a cross-functional application team.
• Serve as the bridge between management and developers, helping prioritize work, manage releases, and oversee Jira/Kanban processes.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, design decisions, and development approaches.
• Contribute hands-on development work when time permits.
• Support multiple technology disciplines including:
• Web Development (React)
• Mobile Development (React Native)
• APIs (Azure/APIM)
• Database Development (Snowflake)
• ServiceNow (oversight, not deep technical ownership)
• Help drive the organization's push toward full-stack development and AI-assisted coding adoption.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experienced leading technical teams across multiple disciplines.
• Strong generalist who understands application architecture and development lifecycles.
• Comfortable working with developers across mobile, web, API, database, and ServiceNow environments.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools and capable of coaching teams on effective use.
• Leadership experience is important; formal people management experience is not required.

• Supports the GeoSense RTLS (Real-Time Location Services) platform, which helps hospitals track medical equipment and improve operational workflows.
