The TeamThe Nursing Workforce Planning Unit supports strategic nursing and midwifery workforce development through evidence-based planning, workforce analytics, reporting, and service improvement. Working in partnership with nursing leaders, health professionals, and key stakeholders, the unit drives innovative workforce solutions that support safe, efficient, and sustainable healthcare delivery. Our focus is on strengthening our workforce capability and capacity to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients, staff, and the communities we serve.
The RoleThe Team Leader - Nursing Workforce Development/Data Analyst leads workforce planning, analytics, reporting, and improvement initiatives across Hospitals North, providing expert advice and strategic support to nursing leaders to ensure a sustainable and effective workforce.
You will needDemonstrated expertise in workforce planning, data analysis and reporting, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations.
Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience leading change and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in health planning or health workforce planning, together with advanced analytical and communication skills

Details of appointmentPermanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$132,460 to $139,392 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
