Sr Systems Engineer (RAM) - GMD Weapons Systems with Security Clearance

Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The Work The successful candidate will be performing System Reliability & Maintainability (RAM&T) Engineering Analysis. The candidate will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and verifying subsystem RAM&T performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure that RAM&T program requirements are achieved. The primary responsibility of the position will be reliability, maintainability, and testability. The selected candidate will Liaison with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers for the RAM&T of assigned subsystem. The individual will support the Product teams in the investigation of RAM&T issues and develop mitigation plans. -The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels. -Due to the nature of the role, this is not being offered as a teleworking or hybrid position. Learn more about Lockheed Martin's comprehensive benefits package here! #rmshotmiljobs Basic Qualifications: • An Active Final Secret Clearance is required • Associates degree or higher with 3+ years of related experience. • Experience in Reliability and Maintainability Familiar with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) assessments. • Familiar with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements Desired Skills: • Ability to perform RAM&T allocations and predictions • Ability to develop Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis • Ability to perform Built In Test (BIT) testability analysis • Ability to develop mission reliability analysis • Ability to support the development of teams in the investigation of issues • Familiarity with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) • Experience with Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) • Experience with maintainability demonstrations • Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
