Urgent requirement of AWS Devops Platform Technical Lead - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

Key Technical Skills (JD)

AWS cloud platform engineering and operations

Terraform Enterprise and Infrastructure as Code implementation and governance

Jenkins CI/CD pipeline usage and optimisation

Source Control development and release management practices

AWS services such as S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Kinesis

Platform observability (CloudWatch, monitoring, logging, alerting and operational dashboards)

SRE, operational readiness and production support model design

Environment management, deployment automation and release orchestration

Cloud security, IAM and enterprise platform controls

Technical Lead Behaviours

Drives engineering excellence through automation and standardisation

Takes ownership /accountability of delivery outcomes

Helps inform pragmatic, risk-based technical decisions

Influences and aligns stakeholders across Engineering, Security, Operations and Delivery teams

Coaches and mentors engineers to uplift DevOps and cloud capability
