We're looking for an experienced Iteration Manager Business Analyst (IMBA) to join our Technology team. This role plays a key part in delivering strategic business and technology initiatives across Customer Experience, Operations, Fleet, Finance, Data, Digital and Automation programs.

Reporting to the Technology Delivery Lead, you will manage initiatives end-to-end while partnering with business stakeholders to define, analyse, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will plan and control delivery, gather and document requirements, manage risks, budgets and vendors, and drive initiatives from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation.

This is a permanent full-time hybrid opportunity based at our Sydney office, with flexible working arrangements available.

Your Role

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading stakeholder workshops, writing clear business requirements, managing delivery plans and keeping teams focused on business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the full delivery lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, planning, control, change management, reporting and closure.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including scope, objectives, schedules, risks, dependencies and resource plans.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain requirements as epics, user stories and process maps, and agree acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
  • Track delivery using Agile and hybrid approaches, including backlog, sprint and release planning where appropriate.
  • Manage competing priorities, risks and cross-functional dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Support testing, user acceptance activities and go-live readiness.
  • Partner with third-party vendors and delivery partners to manage scope, quality and delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners, product owners and senior technology stakeholders.
  • Track budgets, forecast spend and support business cases and benefits realisation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery practices, processes and ways of working.

Your Skills

  • Proven experience as an Iteration Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst or similar technology delivery role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage initiatives across scope, schedule, budget, risk and stakeholder management.
  • Strong requirements management skills, including business requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Working knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and traditional delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, risks and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience tracking budgets and reporting on delivery progress.

Highly regarded:

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Planner, Power BI or similar tools will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to automation, data and analytics, or digital transformation programs is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, SAFe or CBAP are desirable.
